DAY 3 OF 3

A VISITATION FROM GOD

As it was then, so it is now. There are certain things God only reveals to people who really serve Him. The God who walked with the disciples every day is now only showing up in visits. For the next 40 days, He visits them. A visit from God can change the trajectory of your life. A visit from God can change your attitude and your whole disposition. Some people suggest they have a daily meeting with God; but the truth is, God really only visits occasionally. God has a way of visiting you, and His visits make a difference. The only thing about God visiting you is you never want Him to leave.

Every so many years, God visited Abraham, and it would change the trajectory of Abraham’s life. Every so often, God would visit Moses. He visited the disciples on the road to Emmaus. They were having a conversation until Jesus walked up behind them and interjected Himself. And for 7 miles, Jesus unfolded Himself to them through the scriptures until He was ready to leave. They begged Him to stay. If you have ever had a visitation from the Holy Ghost, you won’t want it to end either. A real visit from God makes you wish He would linger longer.

Many people who call themselves believers have never had a visit from God; they only visit church. At moments in your life, Jesus wants to come and visit you, and not just at church. When God visits you, He turns your fear around and removes your doubt, and you find yourself in a different state of being. You realize you are not in isolation; you are in seclusion.

The Holy Ghost visited the disciples in the Upper Room, and it changed their fear into joy. God anesthetized their pain and fear with great joy. When you have every right to be anguished, God will give you joy. God will visit you where you are and anesthetize your pain and give you unspeakable joy that is full of glory! Just one visit from Jesus will change your life forever!

While in isolation, have you opened your home, your life, for a visitation from God?

About this Plan

Wait on It

Isolation ≠ seclusion. In isolation, fear is loud; in seclusion, God is heard. Where are you standing in this season of uncertainty: behind the closed doors of fear or in the waiting room of God's sovereignty? As with the disciples, God can change our lives in one visit, but He needs a private moment with us first. Make room for seclusion and God will intercede!
