Growing as an Enneagram Seven: The Enthusiastનમૂનો
Growing in Focus
As you encounter growth seasons, it will become easier for you to access some of the best qualities of Enneagram Fives. If you are unfamiliar with type Fives, or are struggling to think of their best qualities, here’s a little rundown.
Fives are generally observant, focused, objective, and very laid back. As lifelong students, they are often a great source of wisdom on their favorite topics. If any type is the most likely to be introverted, it’s Five. They typically don’t have the same amount of energy as the rest of us and once their energy is gone, that’s it—Fives need to recharge.
A healthy Five not only understands and observes the world, but also enriches others with their knowledge. A healthy Five might still feel the inner panic of the world pulling on their resources, but no longer gives in to its demands as much as they normally would. Branching out socially and making friendships only helps these Fives continue to narrow their expectations for time alone and expand their desire for company. These Fives will be masters in whatever topics pique their interests; they often write books and teach.
For most Sevens, going to Five in growth typically looks like:
· Being able to focus for long periods of time
· Having healthy curiosity about new topics of interest
· Being able to slow down and make objective decisions
· Reaching contentment faster or longing for it in a more productive way
If your fun, joyful, bright-sided self harnesses a Five’s focus, objectivity, stillness, and contentment, it’s like lighting fireworks.
When Sevens are focused, they not only dream but also make their dreams a reality.
When Sevens are objective, they can make decisions without fear of missing out on something or letting emotions become a deciding factor.
When Sevens are still, they start to feel grateful for what’s right in front of them.
And when Sevens are grateful for what’s in front of them, they start to encounter God in a marvelous new way.
You are a wonderful, needed reflection of God in your own unique way. But God also made Five-ness the key to your effectiveness in many areas of life.
Adding Five’s strengths to your already unstoppable personality will help you become a greater force for good in this world.

About this Plan
The Enneagram is an ancient personality typology. The theory behind it is that a person assumes one of nine personalities in childhood as a reaction to discovering the world as a scary, unkind place, and thus is unlikely to accept their true self. This devotional is designed for Enneagram Sevens, also known as the Enthusiast.
