Bronco and Friends: A 5-Day Devotional by Tim Tebow નમૂનો
Day Four: God’s Strength in Our Weaknesses
Scripture: “[God’s] power works best in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)
“Hop on one of my ears and come with us,” Chelsie offered. “Bronco is showing me the way.” Ethan hopped up and giggled, tickled by Chelsie’s long and fuzzy ears.
Devotion
At first Chelsie didn’t like her long ears, but then she was able to use them to help someone else! God is so creative to let us use our differences and even our weaknesses to help others.
A man named Paul in the Bible had a weakness that was really frustrating to him. But he said he was still glad he had that weakness because it reminded him that God was strong.
God uses things that the world says are weaknesses to remind us what real strength is. Maybe someone at your school isn’t able to hear very well. What are ways you could ask him or her to play? What a great way to show creativity! Does your face look a little different than other kids? That probably makes you extra kind to kids who have differences. What a gift!
Question
What is something different about you that you could use to help others?
Prayer
Dear God, sometimes I get frustrated with _________ about myself. Show me how you want to be strong in my life! Amen.
Activity
Have a strength contest with a friend or family member. See how many books (or blocks or pillows) each one of you can hold at one time. Have the other person count to 10. See if you can keep holding them that whole time!
