Blooming Wonderful

DAY 7 OF 7

In Full Bloom

Remember, I told you that if you believe you will see the glory of God. They removed the stone, and Jesus lifted His eyes toward heaven. Father, I am grateful that You have heard Me. I know that You are always listening, but I proclaim it loudly so that everyone here will believe You have sent Me. – John 11:40-42, Voice

The glory of God is the very nature of God. God’s glory is God expressed. I can hardly wait for more of God’s glory to be revealed on Earth. This presents you and me with a very interesting opportunity. God needed a person to express His glory through. In this instance, it was His own Son, Jesus. Now that Jesus is glorified, He too needs a body through which to reveal His glory. He is looking for willing participants; people He can freely flow through, ordinary people like you and me. Are you willing to say yes?

Jesus taught us through this prayer (which is simply talking to God reverently and with honor), that the Father is always listening. He hears your every word, and He wants to hear your ‘yes’. Yes to faith. Yes to believing. Yes to reflecting Him. Yes to being a carrier of His glory. Show the world, whether it be at home, the workplace, on public transport, or in a shopping mall, that you belong to Jesus and He has sent you. This is life in full bloom.

Once you have tasted and seen that the Lord is good, and His glory, the expression of who He is, has entered your life, you can never be the same. With this experience comes a desire to see other people acknowledge, accept, and receive so great a salvation. In this abundant life, we are called to do one thing—to love. From beginning to end, Jesus’ days were marked by His love for His people. He expects us to demonstrate the same. Love has to be demonstrated through giving and sharing what you can. Suddenly your life will take on a new meaning of being in full bloom if you do.

I love my garden because I enjoy watching flowers grow and blossom There is nothing quite like getting your hands into the soil, planting some seeds, and seeing it grow. Cutting your own freshly grown herbs to add to a salad or a meal is a delight. If you want to live a life of being continually blooming wonderful, it is going to require abiding. Just as flowers need to abide in the soil and be part of a root system, so we must stay engrafted and connected to the vine—Jesus Himself.

Your abundant growth and your faithfulness as My followers will bring glory to the Father. – John 15:8, Voice

About this Plan

Blooming Wonderful

When the seeds of goodness and righteousness start to sprout and spring forth in your life, share the joy of your harvest with others. Make everyone you meet feel their uniqueness and let them know they are special to you. Embrace their differences. It is the beauty of the rose and the gardenia and the tulip that make up a beautiful bouquet. Don’t waste your energy comparing yourself to others.
