Is Jesus Something More?નમૂનો
Jesus Saves
Many respond to claims about Jesus like “doubting Thomas”—Unless I see and touch him, I will never believe. Thomas’ world was rocked when he did see and touch the resurrected Christ. He cried out in belief, “My Lord and my God!” Jesus’ reply pierced, “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
Though you have not seen, will you believe?
Jesus’ identity stirs something deep within your soul. His gospel cuts through false religions and pierces the heart. If the Spirit is convicting you of sin and convincing you of the truth about Jesus, turn towards him in repentance and confess:
Jesus,
You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. You are Immanuel, born to save God’s people. You are the perfect Priest and Pattern who mediates between God and man and provides an example to follow. You are the substitutionary Sacrifice who offered yourself for the sins of the world. You are the sinless Son who rose from the dead in vindication of your identity. You are the exalted King who reigns at the Father’s right hand who will return to judge the living and the dead.
Today, I repent of my sin. I repent of my pride in trying to fix my own brokenness. I repent of looking to other people and things to save me. You alone can rescue me. I believe you lived the life I couldn’t, died the death I deserved, and rose to life for my sin’s forgiveness. Please save me from Satan, sin, and death.
Lord, I desire to lose my life to find true life in you. I place my faith in you. Impart your resurrection life to me that I might triumph over the powers of darkness and walk in your light. Empower me for your mission to make disciples of all nations until that final day when I will be fully redeemed.
Where do I go from here?
- Worship the Son—Join the saints around the globe who worship Jesus as Lord.
- Read the Word—Ask a believer to read the Gospel of John with you to better understand Jesus.
- Join a Church—Give yourself fully to a Christ-centered, Bible-teaching, God-glorifying local church. It’s essential to your new life in Christ!
Consider/Discuss:
- What doubts keep you from worshiping the Christ?
- How does the identity/mission of Jesus affect your identity/mission?
