SE Students - No Matter What - Part 1નમૂનો
Jesus knew it would not be easy for His friends to follow Him—that there would be difficult things that came their way. They would get tired. People would make fun of them. They would face temptations to sin and even to give up following Him altogether. Jesus knew His friends would need encouragement and that we would need it too. The words Jesus spoke to His closest friends, the disciples, filled them with strength and courage to continue living for Jesus and not themselves. We too can gain strength and courage to live for Jesus and not ourselves.
A major part of being a Christian is not giving up. Not giving up our faith for popularity. Not giving up on putting others first. Not giving up reading God’s Word and praying daily. Jesus knew we may be tempted to give up and lose our faith, but He reminded us in John 16 that the words we read in the Bible give us exactly what we need to keep going. Reading the Bible consistently is fuel we need to continue following Jesus and living for Him.
