7 Signs of Walking in the Holy Spiritનમૂનો
The anointing is an overflow of God’s life within us. It’s like when our cup goes from full to overflowing. When we walk in the Holy Spirit, He causes our cup to run over into the lives of others. The anointing is the result of walking in intimate fellowship with Him.
King Saul didn’t seek the anointing; anointing sought him when he walked in sync with the Spirit of God. Anointing enabled him to break the yoke of the Ammonites. But when he proudly persisted in his disobedience to the Lord, anointing left him, and he started to fight not the enemy but God’s anointed men. He went from attracting God’s anointing through humility to attacking God’s anointing in others. He spends the latter part of his life trying to kill his son-in-law David, who was someone who represented what Saul used to be, filled and led by the Holy Spirit.
David didn’t attack Saul, he had an anointing to protect. Saul attacked David because he had no anointing left over. All men and women of God have faults - the ones in the Bible had sins and weaknesses - so do the ones whom God uses today. When we honor the Holy Spirit in another person, we don’t ignore their humanity or turn a blind eye to their shortcomings. But when we make it our mission to destroy others simply because we don’t agree with their style or we envy the favor they walk in, accusing them of heresy because we don’t agree with manifestations, we have to take a deep look into our heart. Has the sweet manifest presence of the Holy Spirit departed from us? Dear friends, we can disagree with someone without trying to destroy them. We Bible-believing, Jesus-following, Spirit-filled believers are all on the same team. When we attack anyone who is used by the Lord, not only do we miss out on God’s anointing but also we are in danger of even grieving or blaspheming the Holy Spirit.
Let’s return to the story of Saul. He attacked David after he lost connection with the Holy Spirit. He lost his authority to attack the real enemy; instead, he made an enemy out of God’s chosen person. He convinced himself and others that David was a traitor when in reality, Saul was just living without the Spirit.
Let’s pray together.
Holy Spirit, replace the darkness within me with Your gentle light.

About this Plan
All Christians have a relationship with the Holy Spirit, but not all Christians have intimacy with Him. There is a difference between a relationship and intimacy. A relationship with the Holy Spirit comes through salvation. However, intimacy only comes through the surrender of our lives to the Holy Spirit.
