Growing as an Enneagram Two: The Helperનમૂનો
Be Bold Like Jesus
Have you ever thought about Jesus as a man of boldness? We usually think of our Savior as loving, kind, gentle, and patient. But bold?
In Matthew 19, Jesus tells His disciples to let the children come to Him. He was opening His heart and asking His disciples to do the same. He was inviting the vulnerable to be in a relationship with Him, and that is one of the boldest things a person can do.
Boldness may not be the first thing you think of as one of the qualities of a Two, but if you look at the life of Jesus, perhaps you can see boldness in yourself.
Jesus modeled boldness to us in so many different ways:
· He spoke truth with conviction.
· He healed the sick and was there for the needy.
· He put His reputation on the line to meet with people whom society shunned.
· He led a group of people.
· He got angry at the things that made God angry.
· He asked His friends to be with Him in His time of need.
· He laid His life down in obedience to God.
Look over the list of ways Jesus modeled boldness. Can you think of other examples from Scripture? As you read this list, consider how it might look in your life. In what situation do you speak truth with conviction? How are you asking for help in time of need? Even caring for a sick friend, dear Two, is not a passive act! It is brave, and it is bold!

About this Plan
The Enneagram is an ancient personality typology. The theory behind it is that a person assumes one of nine personalities in childhood as a reaction to discovering the world as a scary, unkind place, and thus unlikely to accept their true self. This devotional is designed for Enneagram Twos, also known as the Helper.
