Leadership Looks A Little Different These Daysનમૂનો
Day 7: Have fun
Leaders who lead through change well have fun.
It is a simple, but powerful principle. Change is an energy zapper for both individuals and organizations, and leaders who lead through change effectively know how to mobilize others. They lead teams who can balance laughter through the process while keeping their team focused on the end goal.
God has built times of remembrance and times of celebration into His time. When the Solomon completed the temple, Israel had a party for 14 days! When the people went home from that epic two-week celebration, they went home with happy hearts for all the goodness that God had done.
Having a happy heart in the process is not only life-giving to others but energizing to a leader’s heart. Happiness flows from the heart of God, and shows His character and nature to others.
God, thank you for your heart for celebration. Please help me not to move past moments to bring joy and happiness to others around me. Give me the wisdom to encourage - to instill courage - to those around me to move in the direction of your heart. In your presence we find joy and freedom.
