Love God Greatly: Know Love: A Study on 1, 2, 3 Johnનમૂનો
John wanted to encourage his readers that they could be sure of their eternal salvation. All that is required is that we place our faith in Jesus. If we do, we are saved (v. 13).
This confidence of salvation should give us confidence in our prayer life as well. God hears the prayers of His children. He wants us to come to Him and talk to Him. He wants us to pour out our hearts, repent of our sins, and ask for the things we need. This does not mean that all of our requests will be answered in the way that we want them to be answered. God knows what is best for us, though it may not always seem like He is working for our good.
It is our faith that allows us to accept God’s will for us. Our faith gives us the hope and confidence that we can trust God’s purposes in our lives even when we don’t understand what God is doing.
Lord, thank You that I can come before You in prayer without judgement or condemnation. Thank You that You love hearing me pour my hearts out to You. Please strengthen my faith so I can accept the way You answer my prayers and be able to praise You in the midst of answers I do not understand. Amen.

About this Plan
The Apostle John had one clear message in his letters: Love one another. In the letters of 1, 2, and 3 John, the beloved disciple encouraged followers of Christ to love God by following His commands, and to love and honor fellow believers. John’s message is incredibly relevant to us today, offering insight to us as we seek to live like Jesus lived and love like Jesus loved.
