Praying Through Ephesians with Hillsong Creativeનમૂનો
After you have completed today’s reading from the Bible, we encourage you to set aside a moment to listen along to the guide provided as we pray and allow God to speak to us through His word.
In today’s reading Paul writes a long of list of behaviours, instruction in how we are to live as children of light that we may please the Lord. In the middle of this he writes in Ephesians 5:14, “This is why it is said: ‘Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.’”
In what ways might you be asleep today, stuck in a previous way of living? What decisions might you be making that are less than God’s best for you?
Light speaks of righteousness, purity and holiness. What would living fully alive in Christ’s light look like for you today? How might that change your priorities, what you say, and what you see?
Is that something you desire? To live as a child of light? To live each day in ways that honour your Heavenly Father? If so, talk to God about that now. Tell Him that this is your desire and ask for His help to live today fully alive in Him.
Lord, we’re sorry for the times we’ve chosen less than Your best for us. How wonderful it is to be reawakened and living in the light of Christ. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

About this Plan
Join the creative community of Hillsong Church as we read and pray through the book of Ephesians. Paul wrote Ephesians as a letter of encouragement to the church in Ephesus and those in the surrounding region. Rather than addressing specific problems within the church, Ephesians stands alone as a message of unity for all believers: unity of Heaven and earth, unity of humanity, and unity of relationships.
