Drawing Closerનમૂનો
Prayer | Prayer is Personal
Every day is bound to have its troubles. When you don’t have a personal prayer time with God each day, your stress simply builds upon the previous day’s stress. God never intended for you to carry your burdens alone. He didn’t create prayer to put another burden on you. He created it so you could give your burdens to him, and He could give you peace.
Prayer was never designed to be a duty or an obligation. God doesn’t want you feeling like you have to pray to Him. You get to pray. You get to talk with and take your problems to the Creator of the universe. What an incredible privilege!
Respond to God’s personal invitation to meet with Him today. Make every effort to turn your thoughts toward God. Begin by quieting your heart and clearing your mind of the day’s concerns, and worship Him with a song. God loves it when you worship Him. He is not listening to how your voice sounds; He only cares about your heart. Then begin talking to God. Don’t hesitate to speak about the questions, problems and concerns you’re facing. Talk to Him just as you would talk to your best friend. End your daily time with the Lord by reading His word and asking Him to direct you to the words you need to prepare for the day.
Spending time in prayer radically impacts your life. Are you ready to begin having a personal prayer time? Meet with Him today, and watch your destiny and life be transformed!
Memory Verse
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6–7
