DAY 18 OF 18

GOD’S PROMISES

When God has spoken His Word, no one can withstand or stop the Word to be fulfilled. No matter how powerful or how wealthy a person is, he cannot limit the Word of God to take place. For God is King of all kings, no king in this world can beat His power and sovereignty.

What had been written by the prophet Jeremiah thousands of years ago had been fulfilled.  And before the city of Babylon was destroyed, God had informed His prophets about it.

Babylon is a depiction of the evil world system, the symbol of human pride. Pride and arrogance is the root cause of Lucifer being thrown down to hell. If we look at the general state of man at the end of this age, man is more concerned with himself, and the love of his neighbor has become cold.

What the Lord Jesus brought to this world is the opposite of arrogance and selfishness. Jesus brought love that comes from heaven. How can we dive into the love of God? When we study the Word of God then in it we will find what God's love for humans is. God’s love is unconditional; whether we love Him or not, He cares for us and loves us. He will work His Word through our lives. We can share that love in the form of care, humility, unselfishness, unity, patience, and wherever we go, God's love can emanate from our lives.

It is true that the Bible says that the wages of sin is condemnation to death, but God's love will forgive all human transgressions when man turns to Him. This is the ultimate experience of God's love.

When we study the Word of God, then in it we will find God's love for us.
