Bring Forth More Fruit

DAY 3 OF 3

Put Your Hand To The Plow

Luke‬ ‭9:62‬ ‭NLT‬‬ declares, “But Jesus told him, Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God.” Put your hand to the plow. Put your hand to work. Put your hand to the plow. Plow your ground. Cultivate the ground of your heart with His Word. Let His Word permeate and filter every area of your heart. Let His Word touch every area of your life. Obey Him. Obey His Word and reap the Harvest that He has for you.

Plow what God has told you to plow. Cultivate what God has told you to cultivate. Do what God has commanded you to do. Execute upon His Commandments. Do what He has Called you to do.

Sit still before Him and receive His Instruction. Let God lead your hands. Let God lead your heart. Let God lead your ways. Let God transform your heart. Let God build you up. Let His Word lead your path. Let God enlarge you. He enlarges those who trust Him. Let God enlarge you. Surrender your ways to Him. Let Christ enlarge your territory. Let Christ lead your feet to do mighty exploits for Him.

Forget the past. Forget the things that are behind you and move forward in what God has Called you to do. 1 Chronicles‬ ‭4:9-10‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ declares, “Jabez was honorable above his brothers; but his mother named him Jabez [sorrow maker], saying, Because I bore him in pain. Jabez cried to the God of Israel, saying, Oh, that You would bless me and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and You would keep me from evil so it might not hurt me! And God granted his request.”

Forget about the pain of the past. Like Jabez, forget about the past and what others thought about you and press forth in obedience. Let God enlarge you. Let God cause you to bring forth more fruit.
