Thy Son Liveth: Miracles Still Happenનમૂનો
Go to Siloam and Wash
Siloam means sent. Are you ready to be an evangelist?
“Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but the works of God should be revealed in him. I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” John 9:3-5 NKJV
It’s not because we pray or we’re saved that God answers our prayers or heals us. Instead, it is for his name's sake that God does anything. It’s to show that He is Holy, He is Righteous, He is Wonderful, He is the Redeemer. His name carries all the weight.
Jesus sends the blind man to a pool located slightly outside of Jerusalem. A waterway was built by King Hezekiah as a way for water to flow into Jerusalem so the people would have access to water during a siege by Assyria. After receiving his sight the blind beggar was invited back into Jerusalem to reintroduce himself - this miracle was a big deal and sets aflame the entire community.
The people needed to make sure the healing wasn't a stunt To confirm the miracle and identity of the blind man his neighbors got called in for questioning. His parents got called in, and lastly the blind man was called in to testify.
An evangelist is born all for God’s name's sake with this testimony:
“Why, this is a marvelous thing, that you do not know where He is from; yet He has opened my eyes! Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him. Since the world began it has been unheard of that anyone opened the eyes of one who was born blind. If this Man were not from God, He could do nothing.” (John 9:30-33 NKJV)
When your miracle happens, will you be bold and testify? Are you ready to brag about God and give Him all the glory?

About this Plan
God is still in the miracle business and miracles are a part of the Kingdom experience. I love miracles and believe that God wants to do exceedingly abundantly in our lives for His namesake. Miracles also occur to encourage faith in nonbelievers. In this 7-day plan I compiled a list of some of the miracles I found in the book of John. Read and be encouraged - miracles still happen.
