Commands of Christ: 87 

Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid. 

Jesus gave this command in the middle of His promise to send the Holy Spirit to live within His followers. In other words, He gives this command in the context of giving us the means to obey it. If we are living in the Spirit, walking by the Spirit, we will not be fearful or have troubled hearts. He is peace just as he is love and joy and kindness and goodness and faithfulness and gentleness and self- control. Abide in Him.
