WISDOM IS HIDDEN IN CHRIST
“Christ is the physical manifestation of God-given wisdom, and with our knowledge of the Word and by the power of the Holy Spirit, we have access to this wisdom.“ Andrea Lucado
PRAY: Lord Jesus, on my last day of studying wisdom I want to be clear on the difference between Your heavenly wisdom and the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age - for theirs comes to nothing. But I want to embrace the hidden mystery of God's wisdom and have the message of Christ dwell richly among me, my family and my friends. I ask that You help us teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through Your Psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Help me, my family, and my friends to sing to You with gratitude in our hearts." Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.
REFLECT: We need to be aware of the words that God uses and the same words that man uses. Often the same words have different meanings. Here in I Corinthians 2:6 & 7 Paul tells us that we have to speak a message of God's wisdom, not the wisdom of this age. We have experienced, even today, that God's wisdom is often a mystery that has been hidden from man, but God has destined it for our glory, even before time began. That's incredible, but practically, how do you let the wise message of Christ dwell richly in you? Maybe it's through meditating on the Psalms, learning hymns, and singing songs to God from the Spirit, and singing with gratitude in your heart. Have you ever done that?
ACT: Choose a psalm, hymn or song that you can read or sing to God. Now read it or sing it out loud, with gratitude in your heart, and praise Him for giving you the mysterious wisdom that most men never discover. Thank Him that He has destined it for your glory, for you to be filled with divine wisdom, not the wisdom of this age, and that as you sing and read scripture and learn hymns, you are being filled up more and more with wisdom and becoming mature. Maybe you can make a habit of doing this... Now go forth into the world, filled with God's rich wisdom that will make you more powerful than your adversaries and full of gratitude in your heart!

About this Plan
One of the very specific commands God gives us is to ask Him for wisdom. This week we’re going to focus on gaining God’s wisdom versus worldly wisdom. And along with gaining wisdom, we will discover a list of other benefits that we receive. God says it’s a hidden mystery until we ask for it and then it becomes life-changing.
