Prayer Walk A Campusનમૂનો
Ongoing Engagement
One of the first recorded prayer walks in the Bible was around the city of Jericho. Joshua gave some instructions for an elaborate event that spanned seven days. Thousands of people attended and it had a dramatic ending. That first prayer walk around a city has become a model that many today still follow. Kendra Miller adapted that idea into a present day outdoor prayer walk.Listen to Kendra |
By doing a prayer walk, Kendra got an idea for how she could bring prayer into her daily routine. Students do a lot of walking. So why not use that time to pray as you walk. Rather than wait for an organized event, she could pray often every day. It became a way to practice the Biblical idea of "praying without ceasing." Kendra stayed engaged in an ongoing way. The same can be true for you in your neighborhood, workplace and beyond. You can pray for the people and places around as you go about your natural activities!

About this Plan
Today's college students will become tomorrow's leaders. Yet many of our nation's college campuses do not have a focused Christian ministry. We want to change that. The Every Campus movement sees prayer walks as a key to bringing students to Christ. This five-day plan provides you audio stories from people who have had a campus prayer focus. You can use this plan to help prepare you do the same.
