Everyone. Everywhere. Part 1નમૂનો
The Nations Will Know: A primary theme throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, is God’s heart for all people of all nations to know Him personally and worship Him. In fact, there are over 500 verses in the Bible about the nations! Three of these verses follow today’s devotional, but if you would like to see them all, check out this link . These verses make it clear that God’s plan for our world will not be complete until people from every tongue, tribe, nation, and language have put their faith in Jesus and have been reconciled with the Father. God wants every one of us to be a part of that plan coming to fruition.
There are six primary ways that we can participate. First, we can pray for specific missionaries, nations, or people groups. We can also learn more about God’s heart for the nations through His Word, or researching more about these unreached peoples on The Joshua Project. Thirdly, we can send others by giving financially to missionaries.
The fifth way we can participate is by mobilizing other believers to participate in this mission with us. Finally, we can go! For the nations to be reached, some of us will have to leave the comfort of our home and go where the Gospel has not yet been heard. It will take all of us working together to complete the Great Commission.
- Questions:
- Which of the six ways is God wanting you to participate in reaching the nations—praying, learning, sending, welcoming, mobilizing, or going?
- Are there people in your current city who come from nations with less access to the Gospel? If so, how can you be a part of welcoming them and sharing Jesus with them?
- Applications:
- Pray that God would show you which of these six ways He wants you to participate in all nations knowing Him.
- After you have an idea of which area the Holy Spirit is directing you toward, write down an action step you can take this week for one of the ways you want to participate.
