Harden Not Your Heart

DAY 1 OF 3

Harden Not Your Heart.

“For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:” Psalms 95:7-8 KJV

The day you hear God’s Voice, choose not to harden your heart. The moment you hear His Voice, whether you’re reading the Word of God, listening to a sermon or communing with Him during your prayer time, choose to let go of the past and allow His Word to radically heal your heart. Decide to wholeheartedly receive the Promises of God in every area of your life.

Heart hardening is a choice. It is your choice to either focus on and to meditate upon God’s Word day and night or you can choose to focus on the weight and the bondage of the past. You choose. Today, decide to intentionally let God’s Word wash your heart and renew your mind through every stage and season of life.

God’s Word is spirit and is life — His Word is the only thing that can lift you out of every pit, valley and out of every dry place. God’s Word is the only thing that can and will complete you. Nothing and no one else will satisfy you. It is the Presence of God that your soul is longing for.

Ever since the garden of Eden, when mankind fell, and hid from The Presence of God, his soul has been trying to connect back to God. Through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ, we now have the choice to connect back to God. In Christ, we are set free. Through Christ we are no longer bound to the power, mandate and the entanglement of sin. Allow God to soften your heart through His Word.

A hardened heart isn’t necessarily formed overnight, a hardened heart is formed over time and becomes calloused through unresolved heart issues. A hardened heart rejects God’s Word, abandons wise counsel, and is incapable of producing consistent ripe fruit. When your heart is hardened it’s calloused from years of unresolved rejection, bitterness, pride, fear and unbelief. Check your heart. It’s your choice to allow God’s Word to heal you by washing your heart with His Word, or you can allow your heart to grow bitter over time by rejecting what God has to say concerning your situation.
