Untamable Redemption

He provided redemption for His people; He ordained His covenant forever – holy and awesome is His name. Psalm 111: 9

All men have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. There were no grounds for any person to have access into His holy presence. Yet, the death of Christ on the cross has become the platform of unrestricted access to God. “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace” (Ephesians 1:7). He paid the ultimate price with His life to rescue us from the present evil age according to the will of our God and Father (Galatians 1: 4). Our redemption is absolute in Christ Jesus. Through the cross, we are no longer slaves to sin, captives of our past, present circumstance or the fear of what the future brings. It is the power of God Himself that breaks sin’s bondage and reconciles us to a right standing relationship with God forever. It cannot be stopped, hindered or manipulated. It is the wisdom of God revealed in Christ that has set us free. 

Food for Thought: God is unfailing in love and full of redemption (Psalm 130: 7). It is simply wise to trust in Him and accept the work of salvation with absolute gratitude

Action Point: Now is the time to begin to live in the reality of salvation. Do away with those things that do not glorify God, and rid yourselves of the things that aren’t profitable to the Kingdom of God. 

Prayer Point: Thank you my Redeemer for saving me. Daily as I live, often as I breathe, let my whole life be an expression of your grace.
