Beautiful Mind: 3 Ways To Use The Power Of Your Thoughtsનમૂનો
Your Mind is a Garden
The garden of your mind will produce the life you lead it to grow.
My mother has a green thumb. When my office plant began to wither and die (because I may have forgotten to water it…for a few weeks), I brought it to her. Within a month, the plant was not only thriving once again, but it had grown so much she had to cut it in half and place part of it into another pot. My mother understands how to help plants flourish, and is able to accomplish amazing feats of creation because of this.
As I said above, everything you allow into your mind will either help it or hurt it. Like a garden, you get to determine what grows. You have the power to till the soil, choose the fruits and vegetables and flowers, and uproot the weeds. Your garden will grow whatever you tell it to, so long as you also do the work to make that growth possible.
A beautiful mind is the result of someone’s labor. If you want possibility and Godly trust to be your defaults (rather than fear and lack), this is possible.
If you see someone living a life similar to the one you feel called to live (as in running a business or nonprofit, full-time ministry, writing, painting, dancing, parenting, etc.)—you can be sure that the outward fruit of their life is a result of the inner garden they have tended to for years.
Because you are a child of God, your “soil” is ready to produce extraordinary things. Now you just need the tools to do so.
If you've enjoyed this series and want to continue building the mind God has called you to, this book is for you.
