Praying God's Word Over Your Kids: Part 2નમૂનો
When I was in college, I began leading small groups of teenagers at my church. I was an average student growing up and because of that, I was incredibly nervous that I did not have what it took to lead including the right answers. A mentor encouraged me to take God at His Word and ask for wisdom. I accepted her advice and began to pray a simple sentence: God, give me wisdom beyond my years.
I prayed it every single day. And I still pray it regularly today. Before I head into meetings, before I speak on a stage, before I write a blog post, and before I have meaningful conversations with my sons. God has faithfully answered that prayer one hundred fold. He has given me what I needed when I needed it.
I now pray that same prayer for my sons and invite you to do the same over your children. Why? Because wisdom from God triumphs wisdom from the world and will give them the ability to make wise choices that will lead to an abundant life in Christ.
●I pray that ____________ will have the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that he may know You better. (Ephesians 1:17)
●If ____________ lacks wisdom, he will ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault and it will be given to him. Give ____________ wisdom beyond his years. (James 1:5)
●I pray for ____________ that wisdom will enter his heart and knowledge will be pleasant to his soul. I pray that discretion will protect ____________, understanding will guard him, and that wisdom will save him from the ways of wicked men. (Proverbs 2:10-12)
About this Plan
Praying for our children is instinctual as parents. We are constantly praying for their health, well being and happiness. All of those are great, but let's go deeper in our prayers for them. As Jesus followers, the Word of God is our foundation for truth and because of that, it makes sense that we should use it as our guide. Join Cindy as she shares prayers with you that she has prayed over her three sons and walk in faith that you will see it all come to pass in your own children's lives.
