Redefine The Grindનમૂનો
Yet another individual who displays the importance and benefits of the grind would be Moses. Moses, who despite his setbacks and hardships, followed the path of God and led the Israelites out of Egypt. Moses, the shepherd, the stutterer, the murderer, the one who lacked confidence. Moses is a character that is controversial to some, but you cannot help but acknowledge his hard work and dedication.
After killing a slave master and fleeing Egypt, God begins to speak to Moses through the burning bush on Mount Horeb. God tells Moses that he is to be the one who will demand the release of his people from the slave masters in Egypt. Although Moses could not speak well, he and his brother Aaron make the trip back to Egypt. Moses, however, was met with resistance. The Bible discusses the Ten Plagues in which God forces the pharaoh to adhere to Moses’ demands.
Even after the pharaoh makes the decision to allow Moses to lead the Israelites towards the promised land, he still faced hardship. Moses and the Israelites spent an astonishing forty years wandering through the desert. The journey was long, and the conditions were harsh. Few could survive a week of walking through the desert. To lead a team for forty years is something that I can hardly grasp. Although Moses lost faith and died just before they reached Mount Nebo, his hard work made it so that the Israelites successfully made it to the promised land.
In the end, the grind paid off. Moses accomplished what he set out to accomplish, and the Israelites had finished this journey known as The Exodus.
Moses had immense willpower. He followed the path that God set out before him, knowing that it would require a constant daily grind. When the going got tough, Moses turned to the Lord for assistance. God, in turn, kept Moses and the Israelites safe along their journey.
After discussing the grind of both Nehemiah as well as Moses, what are some other stories of hard work found within the Bible?

About this Plan
The daily grind of life can take its toll. Overworking yourself day in and day out will leave you feeling exhausted and unfulfilled. Unless we are able to redefine the grind and repurpose our actions, we will grind ourselves to dust. In this plan, David Villa discusses how God helps him during times in which he feels like giving up. It is time to redefine the grind; here’s how!
