Illuminate: A 21-Day Journeyનમૂનો
Day 12: A Light That Shines The Way
It takes faith to believe in what we cannot see. Of course our testimonies remind us that our God is great and he is bigger than anything we encounter. Thankfully, God gave us his holy Word to help guide us as well. Take a second and read Psalm 119:89–106 before reading the reflection. As you read this passage, focus on the author’s passion for the Word of God.
Reflection
Sometimes we just need a guide to help us find our way. When we’re going somewhere we’ve never been or looking to do something we’ve never done, it helps to have instructions to show us the way. The Bible is literally a lamp that shows us how to live our lives in Christ. It is a light that helps us see where we’re headed, and that helps us avoid the pitfalls of the enemy.
- How often do you read the Bible?
- When you read it, do you really read it, letting it influence your choices and decisions?
- Has your reading become simply another chore to be done, or do you open the Bible expecting to hear from God?

About this Plan
Coming off a retreat or revival? What next? You and I are the church of Jesus Christ on earth today, the visible representation of an invisible God. We have the Holy Spirit living within us, and have been commissioned to shine (illuminate) his love in the midst of a dark world. But what does that mean? How did we get here? And what do we do with all of this? All good questions, and if you stick with us through this journey, we are confident that the Holy Spirit will open your eyes to the light within you that God intends to use to illuminate the world!
