Praise to God, the Ruler of the Earth
To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the sons of Korah.
1Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples!
Shout to God with the voice of triumph!
2For the Lord Most High is awesome;
He is a great #Deut. 7:21; Neh. 1:5; Ps. 76:12King over all the earth.
3#Ps. 18:47He will subdue the peoples under us,
And the nations under our feet.
4He will choose our #(1 Pet. 1:4)inheritance for us,
The excellence of Jacob whom He loves.

5#Ps. 68:24, 25God has gone up with a shout,
The Lord with the sound of a trumpet.
6Sing praises to God, sing praises!
Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
7#Zech. 14:9For God is the King of all the earth;
#1 Cor. 14:15Sing praises with understanding.
8#1 Chr. 16:31God reigns over the nations;
God #Ps. 97:2sits on His #Ps. 48:1holy throne.
9The princes of the people have gathered together,
#(Rom. 4:11, 12)The people of the God of Abraham.
#(Ps. 89:18)For the shields of the earth belong to God;
He is greatly exalted.
