KEY 6: Worship God by how you live

True worship comes from the depths of our heart. True worship is so much more than just the songs we sing, or the way we dance before the Lord.

Choosing to turn the other cheek and not to become angry, is honoring and worshipping God (Matthew 5:39).

Choosing to turn away from every temptation and walk in holiness and purity, is worshipping God (Matthew 5:30).

When we have all the reason in the world to retaliate against our enemies, but choose not to, it shows that we worship God (Luke 6:35).

Displaying the fruit of the Spirit in our daily interaction with people – Christians and non-Christians – not only testifies that the Holy Spirit lives in us, but it also glorifies God before them. Galatians 5:22-25 lists the fruit of the Spirit and ends by saying; ...against such there is no law. And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
