Something's Missing
Do you feel like you’re missing something? Maybe it’s a step, maybe it’s a sign, or maybe it’s just something that’s out of reach.
Proverbs 4:11 tells us: “I instruct you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths.” When we seek Him with all of our hearts, everything else fades. We are left with what is most important - Jesus Himself.
Can you find it in a song; can you hear it in the melody of His voice? “I love those who love Me, and those who seek Me find Me.” – Proverbs 8:17
He created our inmost being, has formed us, and we wonderfully are made (Psalm 139:13). If this is true, then the Maker of all things knows the very thing we ask and seek. What God desires first is for us to seek His kingdom in His way. “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” – Matthew 6:33
Ask God in His way. Most times, the very thing you ask for is already right inside you. Why? Because God put it there. How? When He formed you and loved you before the foundations of the earth.
What is it? The very prayer that is at the top of your heart. God is taking His time to shape your prayers to be in the fold of His will.
God is the One who holds our lives. Even when we think we've lost it, He has found it. “When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble.” – Proverbs 4:12 We will never stumble as long as He is our light, our guide, and our word.
As the seeker, God comes and finds us. He redeems us and claims us as His own. God knows exactly where you are. Are you allowing Him to find you in His way and in His time?
“The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.” – Jeremiah 31:3
