The Power Of Godنمونه
Powerful...in His generosity
We’ve meditated on different aspects of God’s power these last few days...have they already made a difference in your life?
Today, I’d like to draw your attention to God’s generosity, as the Bible emphasizes below:
“[S]ince what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made...” (see Romans 1:19-20, NIV)
God is everywhere, present in every particle that He has created:
- In man, this “marvelous creation”
- In the flora and fauna, with their thousands of species
- In microorganisms
- In the myriads of stars
- In the oceans, rivers, and streams with their billions of cubic feet of water
Out of love for you, God created a lush and fertile Earth, brimming with diverse and varied resources, to give you everything you need. As in the days of Adam and Eve, you have inherited this creation that teaches you about God’s generous, creative, and overflowing nature.
By Jesus’s sacrifice, you have become the direct heir of this amazingly generous and richly good God! Yes, you can truly enjoy the abundant life Jesus came for!
God wants to be generous to you, in every area of your life. Deuteronomy 28 expresses it so well. God is almighty to bless you and fill you with all kinds of blessings.
I invite you to enter into His presence and worship Him…“Almighty God, please forgive me for sometimes doubting Your generosity. I want to thank You for giving me access to all Your riches: spiritual, physical, and material. And thank You for reminding me that everything comes from You; everything is Yours. I praise You for who You are! In Your name, amen.”
Worship God for who He is, for what He does, and you’ll see...heaven’s floodgates will open for you.
