Dealin' with Feelin'Näide

Even though God loved David and made him king, David still made really big mistakes sometimes. When we do something wrong, it's easy to get stuck feeling bad about it for a long time. David did something way worse than most people ever do, but he still turned to God with his bad feelings. He received peace about the consequences of his bad choices when he repented and received God's forgiveness.

About this Plan

What do I do when I feel mad, sad, bad, or glad? God made us with emotions. The Bible shows us God has emotions, too. Emotions aren’t bad, but they can often lead us to make sinful, selfish choices. Since emotions are common ground we share with God, they're a way we can get closer to Him and learn more about Him. This family plan with supporting videos can help kids learn what the Bible has to say about dealing with our feelings.
