Pearls and Promises for Your MarriageSample
KNOW GOD'S HEART
Read Colossians 3:1-17.
Where are we to set our hearts and minds? What are the things we are to put to death? Do any of these things strike a chord with you? What are we to put on?
TAKE IT TO HEART
Read Psalm 19:14.
Slowly and prayerfully read through today's Scripture. Copy and paste it into an email or text to yourself and/or write it on a 3x5 card and post it where you will see it - on your refrigerator, by your desk, or on your mirror. Hide it in your heart and meditate on it today.
SHARE GOD'S HEART
Paul teaches us to bear with each other. Ask the Lord today to help you set your heart and mind on forgiveness and compassion toward your husband. If there is something today that you know may cause you to be frustrated or angry with your husband (perhaps even because it happens every day), choose now to respond in forgiveness and compassion and then follow through.
