Some days praising the Lord feels natural, the good days, the days that our lists of gratitude could go on and on. Then, there are days when our soul needs some instruction. Maybe today is one of those days that you must say to your soul, “Soul, remember all that the Lord has done for you. Praise Him. Say, thank you. He has healed you, He has forgiven you, He has redeemed your life. Not only has He redeemed your life, pulling you from the pit, but then He crowned you with love and compassion, AND He satisfies your desires with good things.”

Whether today is a good or challenging day, the holiness of the Lord, His goodness, and His faithfulness don’t change. So speak to your soul, and remind yourself today to praise Him. Because “Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere.”
