Living What You’re Made For

Have you ever worked on a puzzle or a LEGO set and realized how important every single piece is? Without one piece, the whole thing feels incomplete, right? That’s how God sees you. You’re not just here by accident—He made you ON purpose and WITH purpose to be part of His big plan.

ON Purpose

You are not a mistake. Whether your life started off picture-perfect or a little messy, God knew exactly what He was doing when He made you. In Jeremiah 1:5, God says, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.” That means even before you were born, God had a plan for you.

Think about this: every detail about you—your personality, your talents, and even your quirks—was made on purpose. You’re not here randomly or by coincidence. You are here on purpose. Even when you feel like you don’t measure up, or you’re unsure where you fit in, God sees the bigger picture.

WITH Purpose

God didn’t create you to go through life on autopilot. He made you for something big—something only you can do. In Jeremiah 29:11, God says, “For I know the plans I have for you… plans to give you hope and a future.”

Life can feel overwhelming at times. Between school, friendships, family stuff, and figuring out your future, it’s easy to feel lost or unsure about your next steps. But here’s the truth: God has already mapped out a purpose for your life. It’s unique to you—just like your fingerprint.

You weren’t meant to copy someone else’s life or achievements. Maybe you’re great at encouraging others, leading, solving problems, creating art, or playing sports. Whatever your strengths are, God wants to use them as part of His bigger plan for you.

Dear God, thank You for creating me on purpose and with purpose. Even when life feels confusing or overwhelming, help me to trust that You have a plan for me. Show me how to use the gifts You’ve given me and help me see myself the way You see me. Amen.
