We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to GodSample
Day 77 of 365
In Numbers 20, Moses strikes the rock in frustration, disobeying God’s command to speak to it. Though water flows, his disobedience shows how frustration can undermine faith. Later, in Numbers 22, Balaam seeks God’s direction, reminding us to align with His will even under pressure.
In Mark 15, Jesus offers the ultimate example of trust, surrendering to the Father’s plan on the cross. His obedience fulfills God’s redemptive purpose, empowering us to trust Him fully.
These passages remind us that trust grows through obedience and surrender, even when the path is unclear. The Holy Spirit strengthens us to rely on God’s faithfulness in every situation.
Today, ask the Holy Spirit to guide you where trust feels difficult. Surrender your uncertainty, knowing He is faithful to provide.

About this Plan
We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to God is a 365-day Bible reading plan led by Bishop Gary Lewis, the General Overseer of the Church of God. The plan is designed to deepen your faith and understanding of God’s Word. Each day begins with a short devotional, followed by carefully curated Scripture readings, and concludes with the S.O.A.P. exercise—Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer. Through this plan, you’ll grow in biblical literacy, discover God’s mercy and purpose, and learn to partner with Him in His Kingdom work.
