We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to GodSample
Day 363 of 365
Nehemiah 12-13 celebrates the dedication of Jerusalem’s wall, where the people gather in joy and thanksgiving, recommitting themselves to God’s covenant and service. This dedication is more than a ritual; it’s an expression of their deep gratitude and a public declaration of their allegiance to God. In Revelation 20, we glimpse the final victory of God, where His faithful servants are rewarded, and His reign is established forever. Both passages remind us of the joy found in serving God, knowing that our work is part of His greater plan.
The Holy Spirit fills us with purpose, joy, and resilience as we serve. Through Him, our service becomes a testament to God’s love and faithfulness, transforming mundane acts into sacred offerings. Serving God is more than a duty; it’s a privilege that brings fulfillment and joy, especially when done in partnership with others in the body of Christ.
Today, let the Holy Spirit fill you with joy as you serve in the areas He’s called you to. Whether big or small, let each act of service be done with love and gratitude, knowing that every moment spent for God’s kingdom is a reflection of His love and a step toward eternity.

About this Plan
We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to God is a 365-day Bible reading plan led by Bishop Gary Lewis, the General Overseer of the Church of God. The plan is designed to deepen your faith and understanding of God’s Word. Each day begins with a short devotional, followed by carefully curated Scripture readings, and concludes with the S.O.A.P. exercise—Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer. Through this plan, you’ll grow in biblical literacy, discover God’s mercy and purpose, and learn to partner with Him in His Kingdom work.
