Journey With Jesus 365Näide

Is it enough to do good?
Jesus referenced two recent disasters well-known in His day, one by man (a massacre ordered by Pilate) and the other seemingly a natural disaster (the collapse of a tower). Some question if these tragedies were the result of bad deeds. Conversely, many today teach that in doing good deeds good things will happen to us. This idea of Karma goes far beyond pop culture and is rooted in various religious teachings that refer to the cause and effect of people’s actions. However, Jesus warns that unless you repent you will all likewise perish. In God’s eyes, “All our righteousnesses are as filthy rags” (Isaiah 64:6). Jesus then reminded us that tomorrow is not guaranteed, so faith in Him must be a top priority.
Have you repented and called upon the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation and eternal life in heaven?
