A Year in Luke/ActsNäide

It is interesting to note in this story that Paul knew his journey would be filled with hardship, like he says in verse 10 when trying to warn the crew. Even though they never heed his warning, he continues to encourage them. Technically, that means he is trying to help his jailers, his oppressors. With his one goal in mind, to share the good news of Jesus, Paul remains a witness for Jesus, even in the most dire of situations. No matter what path following Jesus leads us on, we can always be a testimony of the love and power of God.
