Moments can be monumental. One mere moment wields the potential to achieve the unthinkable. It can alter perspectives, transforming the trajectory of generations yet to come. The concept of a “moment” encompasses the fusion of countless individual moments. This culmination speaks to thousands of experiences that eventually lead to a game-changing moment, the moment that changes everything.

Many Christians would agree that their first encounter with the Lord was a game-changing moment. Everything changes once you meet the One with the authority to enact true heart change. “And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules” (Ezekiel 36:26-27). The same words that the Lord spoke over Ezekiel can be spoken over us!

To truly experience game-changing moments, it is imperative to clarify our minds and purify our hearts. A moment can slip past us because our eyes are fixated on transient matters. The Lord calls us to set our sights on eternity, allowing us to experience true life change until we are with Him in Heaven. An encounter with the Lord compels us to throw off our old self and walk in His glorious light — this is the result of a game-changing moment!
