Seek Adventure

Godly marriages are a blessing and are full of adventures.

Whoever said marriage is boring isn’t doing it right. In Mark 10, God tells us the importance of two people coming together as one and the power of what He designed. Leaders are bold in their thinking and that should pour over into the actions we take in our marriages. Adventures mean different things to different people.

Not everyone is cut out for skydiving or bungee jumping. You can learn what your spouse enjoys and embrace those items as adventures to experience together. If she enjoys traveling, find new destinations she hasn’t been to before and explore those together. If she loves cuisine, look for new restaurants you can try together. Maybe she’s into the outdoors and you seek out hiking trails in your surrounding states and regularly visit new ones together.

The point is to mix it up and keep the energy in your marriage from going stale. Husbands and wives should celebrate God’s wonderful gift of marriage daily. Treat every day as a blessing and always be looking for the next adventure.
