Always Dating

You should always be dating your wife!

This does not happen without intentional action and Proverbs 5 gives great insight into the importance of fully committing to your spouse. Before you were married, you were most likely not around your spouse every day like you are now. As the saying goes, “the honeymoon is over,” and many couples settle into routines.

We need to take a stand and fight for our marriages. Find ways to break up the monotony of the daily grind and connect with your wife daily. This means you will need to look for ways to flirt with and spend 1-on-1 time together. Learn your wife’s primary love languages and speak them fluently. Satan is always looking for ways to infiltrate our marriages, so setting boundaries is crucial to safeguarding this sacred relationship. The more in tune and intimate we are with our spouses, the more protected our marriages will be.

When it comes to dating your spouse, this does not always have to equate to expensive meals and a night out on the town (though this is advisable from time to time). You can flirt with your wife and let her know how cherished she is. Whether that’s writing a note filled with words of affirmation, picking up flowers for her, or providing acts of service. It is your job to love her unconditionally and whole-heartedly.
