Strengthen your faith and overcome the circumstancesSample
You can trust, because God will never change
Today’s Word: Heaven and Earth will pass away, but my word will never pass away.(Matthew 24:35)
In the midst of the current scenario, what would really comfort you? Knowing that you found the right medication for the current pandemic? Seeing that your bills will be paid at the end of the month? Hearing something about the reduction of violence or some wonderful news about the economy?
These are random examples. You may have a list of things that would make you relax and rest peacefully tonight, but have you ever noticed that all these solutions are transient, fleeting?
We will always have a hot topic in the moment. There have been crises in the world since the fall of Adam. A year from now, a pandemic-related issue, for example, may just be the reminder of a difficult time. The focus may change completely due to a new problem that will still arise.
And what is the only thing that will remain forever, no matter the time and place? The Word of God.
Problems, as difficult as they seem, don’t last forever. I know that often, when we are in the middle of them, we have a feeling that our end is near. But this is all a lie, because Jesus is our rock, and if we stand in Him, we will not be destroyed!
The enemy will try to take advantage of your weakness because circumstances are complicated, making you nervous and making you tell yourself: "What will become of me now?” But you should understand something: your position is not that of a person vulnerable to situations, but of a person cared for by God at all times, assisted by him, provided for by the Creator and loved by a Father without equal.
Don’t take the enemy’s bait! He wants to make you desperate, but God says that if He is for you, no one can be against you (Romans 8:31)!
The Word of God never changes, and all of His promises remain. So feel embraced by God and rest under His wings of love!
Prayer: God, thank you for your Word, which never changes. The circumstances of the world are dynamic, problems pass, but what the Lord has promised me will never be changed. I believe in your love and I know I can rest in you. In Jesus name. Amen.

About this Plan
We often fall into the error of just “wishing” for something to change and we think this is enough for God to act. Of course God knows us deeply and takes pleasure in seeing us fulfilled, but the way we relate to Him is only through faith. In this devotional, your faith will be strengthened through what the Bible promises, even if you are living difficult circumstances.
