Unlocking Your Daughter’s True PotentialNäide

Your daughter is a unique expression of God’s creativity, a beautiful, living creation. And God, along with the other image bearers He created, gave her a mandate at the onset of Creation. 

God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” Gen 1:28

So what did God say to both men and women? 

Fill the earth. 

Take care of it. 

Take charge of it. Have dominion over the animals. 

He didn’t say that we should dominate each other, but so often dominion over others is how leadership is approached. That we would dominate or oppress others or position ourselves in authority over a person or group of people. 

Mama, the way you are called to lead others has so little to do with our own authority and everything to do with the authority of the One who made you.
