Love God Greatly - Galatians

DAY 5 OF 40

After Paul’s preparation for his calling, he went to meet the two other disciples Peter and James. As Paul began his ministry, before people even met him, they were already glorifying God because of his divine transformation from a man whose mission was to destroy God’s Church to a man whose mission was to share the gospel and to plant and grow churches.

A believer’s inclination may be to hide our past and downplay the sins and circumstances from which God has delivered us. However, our transformation is the very thing that glorifies God. It’s not simply who we were before or even who we are now… but it is the God-directed transformation that demonstrates God’s power and grace in our lives. When people hear about God in your life, they get a glimpse into God’s will for theirs. A changed life is evidence that God resides within.

What has God done in your life that you need to share with others who are struggling through difficult circumstances? When was the last time you shared your testimony? Will you share God with someone who does not know Him today?

Father God, I thank You for Your faithfulness and Your mercy to transform me into Your new creation. Lord, never let me get so prideful or so downcast that I forget from where You have brought me. Remind me that the way that I can show You gratitude each day is by speaking of Your power in and throughout my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
