Are We Living For God?

One of the big questions we must ask ourselves is “are we living for God?” Often when asking ourselves the big questions of life, we can look at other people’s lives and the potential influence they might or might not be having. It can be so easy to start to compare our normal lives with the highlight moments of their lives and think, “if that is what living for God looks like, I’m way off”. However, I think that what living for God really looks like is taking your everyday, normal life, whatever that looks like for you, and offering it to God by asking Him to use you in whatever area/season/situation you find yourself in. I’m so encouraged by so many of our Young Adults who have become comfortable with where they are right now and aware that even in working in a café, or studying a degree, that God is able to use them and grow their influence. This could be your story too.

Prayer: God, our prayer is that whatever season we find ourselves in right now, the good, the bad and the downright annoying seasons, that we would be the type of people that are known for living for You no matter what season we find ourselves in. Help us all to live a life of significance and bring each of us to the place where we realise that we are making a difference and we are impacting those around us. Amen.
