Ready, Stop, Share

Stop for a moment and think about this. If you had an opportunity to speak about Jesus with family and friends, what would you do? A common theme in the Bible is that God gives us opportunities to share our faith. Mark Gauthier tells the story of Chia and how she saw this happen.

Chia used the opportunity her dad gave to tell her family about Jesus. The Gospel of Mark records a story about some friends doing something similar. Jesus was speaking to a house full of people. Four men brought their lame friend for healing, but they could not get close enough. So they arranged to have the friend lowered through the roof. The friend received both physical and spiritual healing. There are two lessons here. First, you should always be ready to help others come to Christ. Second, it may look different than what you were expecting. Can you think of some ways you can put these two lessons into practice today?
