Did you know that three miracles happen whenever you gift a monetary gift to God? The first is that you make God smile. Seriously! The Bible says that your gifts, given freely for grace freely received, "are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God" (Philippians 4:18)?

Second, you gain a deep sense of personal satisfaction. We are designed for worship, and worshiping with your wallet is perhaps the most sincere form of all. A generous spirit is a good personal indicator of whether or not your faith is real. Giving is actually fun!

Finally, gifts of money to the Lord are reinvested and make ministry happen--perhaps in your own congregation, or perhaps making outreach ministry happen far away. Your gifts of money make it possible that the Word of the Lord can touch the hearts and lives of people who live on the other side of the globe.

That too thrills the heart of the Lord.
