A Hope and a Future: God's Blueprint for Unbridled JoyMuestra
Story of My Life
Have you ever experienced a minor setback–maybe you lost your keys, spilled coffee on your white shirt, or hit every red light on the way to work–and in an exasperated tone, threw your hands up and declared, "Ugh, story of my life!" We have good news for you: you don't need to be prisoners of this mindset! You are not the things that happen to you, you are not defined by what you've lost, and you are not a victim of the pain points of your life. You are a child of God! The story of your life is that you were bought with the blood of Jesus. If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you have been saved, restored, rescued, and set in Heavenly places.
The story of your life is not inconvenience, failure, worry, or heartbreak. The story of your life is what Jesus has done for you and who you are in Him. From the grace and mercy you've received as a child of God to enjoying Him forever in paradise, your entire life is marked by His benevolence.
The truest thing about you is what Jesus says about you: You are a loved, blood-bought son or daughter of the King. The story of your life, from beginning to end, is full of grace.
Prayer: Father, thank You for bringing me into Your family. Help me to remember my true identity as Your child, as I cast all my cares on You because You care for me. Remove the lies from my heart and replace them with Your truth. Your word is truth. I praise You, God, for everything You've done in my life. Thank You that the tomb is empty! Amen.
