Sometimes learning is fun, like when you get to make artwork, go on field trips, or do science experiments.

Sometimes learning isn’t so fun. Long homework assignments and big tests are hard!

But, all of those things are just different ways to help our minds grow and learn.

God helps our spirits grow and learn in different ways, too. Sometimes It’s fun, like singing worship songs or reading Bible stories. But sometimes it’s hard, like forgiving someone who was mean to you. Or sharing your favorite candy because your mom told you to.

God loves us and promises to use every situation to help our spirits grow to be more like Jesus.
