Because Jesus Changes Everything - Everywhere we hunger to share Jesus

In the first century, buildings were founded on the cornerstone. Often there was religious significance to the laying of this stone. Ancients would give a sacrifice or bless this stone for they believe that it was the basis of a solid, secure and excellent building.

How true is this of Christ, our Cornerstone! As taught in this passage, we will see Jesus as the basis of a strong, solid and excellent "building" too! We are built into this living "building" called the church. We need to align our lives on the Cornerstone.

Has your foundation in Christ ever been shaken by the "earthquakes" of doubts, trials, distraction or sin? Know this, Jesus is ever there for you and truly solid rock for your life as we read here. He sometimes allows those times of "shaking" to drive us to hunger for Him to be that cornerstone, solid as ever...so we can align our lives with His life again. - Doug Drainville
