First Priority EPIC Stories Leader Guide

DÍA 38 DE 48

LEADER TIPS

Have someone welcome, pray, watch the video, read the verses, lead conversation questions, and pray for your group.

You can also lead a game or ice breaker if you would like.

Today is all about preparing everyone to have conversations about their stories So create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone to do that.

Create space for other students to share their story with the group as a whole if they would like.

Get in smaller groups of 3-5 if you need to.

WELCOME

Welcome to First Priority. Each month we go through a four week strategy called EPIC. This month's topic is the Story of God's Compassion. Today is Prepare Week where we are having conversations about our stories.

PRAY

Invite God into the room.

WATCH

Watch the video  together.

READ

Read the Bible verses together.

CONVERSATION QUESTIONS

1. How does God’s compassion and love for us impact our relationship with Him?

2. How has God shown compassion to you?

3. How does the compassion you receive from God impact your relationship with others?

4. How can you show more compassion to others?

5. Let a student leader know if you would like to share your story with the whole group sometime.

PRAY OUT

Ask if anyone has prayer requests and then pray for the group.

EXTRA

The following are some questions for someone who would like to share their story with the group as a whole.

1. Tell me more about yourself. Such as where you go to school, hobbies, and fun facts.

2. What is one word you would use to describe yourself? Why?

3. What is the biggest struggle in your story?

4. What are some words that you would use to describe how those struggles have made you feel?

5. Is there a person who has made a big impact in your life? In what way?

6. Has faith or spirituality been a part of your story? Would you like to share more about why or why not?

7. If you could tell someone on thing to help them know that their story matters, what would that one thing be?
